|AFTER ALL NAME NEW ALBUM, REVEAL ARTWORK|
|It's official: the new After All album is called "Cult Of Sin". Right now, we're looking at an early March 2009 release. We'll announce the exact date in a couple of weeks.|
|Meanwhile, we can already reveal Gabriel Bueno's amazing artwork for the new album. Gabriel has been designing some very interesting stuff lately, for bands like Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God and Unearth. It's nice to be part of such an impressive portfolio.|
|Dan Swanö finished mixing and mastering "Cult Of Sin" earlier this week at Unisound in Örebro, Sweden. Dan provided us with an ultra-heavy, yet crystal clear sound, exceeding any expectation we had - just the way this record was supposed to sound!|
|Some very special guests performed on the album. We'll be announcing them in the coming weeks, along with snippets of the new songs. All friends of the band that signed up for the newsletter will have the privilege of checking out some new songs first.
|RECORDING OF NEW AFTER ALL ALBUM COMPLETE|
|Last month we completed the songs we started recording earlier this year. What a trip it's been... We recorded 9 brand new slabs of molten metal, as well as a nice little intro, a short instrumental piece and an über-heavy metal classic from the 1980s.|
|The new album tracks vary from blistering thrash to stomping hard rock and everything in between. Once again, we've been exploring some new grounds, expanding the After All sound as we do on each new album. Several songs feature very special guest performances from some of our touring buddies. Who played what will first be revealed exclusively to the members of our new mailing list - see below. In any case: prepare for another METAL ATTACK!|
|We'd like to thank engineer Dee J. for a great job. This session probably shortened his life with at least another five years. Thanks also to Jan at the Hype Studios for making us feel at home, once again...|
|Next stop is Örebro, Sweden where Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Hail Of Bullets, Novembers Doom) will take care of mixing and mastering the new album.|
|In the meantime, we are very pleased to reveal that Gabriel Bueno from Nova Design Works (Kataklysm, The Black Dahlia Murder, Walls Of Jericho) is finishing up the new album's artwork.
Expect more about the album title, the artwork, and snippets of the new songs to be revealed in the coming weeks... The members of our mailing list will get the news first - see below.
|AFTER ALL ROCKED AT THE GRASPOP METAL MEETING|
|On June 29, we had the great pleasure of playing at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium. With over 140,000 visitors, this was the biggest edition of the festival yet – no surprise with headliners such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Kiss.|
|After All had the honour to be part of the festivities! We definitely had a blast and want to thank all who came out and supported us. The reaction to our set was amazing and it was good to see a lot of familiar faces in the crowd.
One of Belgium's most respected newspapers De Morgen considered our gig at Graspop as one of the top four of the whole weekend, together with Ministry, Cavalera Conspiracy and At The Gates. How cool is that! Check the article here.
|NEW AFTER ALL MERCHANDISE AVAILABLE|
|Right on time for the summer season, we got some cool After All caps and belts in store. Check them out here.
|NEW AFTER ALL ALBUM TO BE COMPLETED IN OCTOBER|
|After All spent most of June at the Hype Studio in Mechelen, Belgium recording basic tracks for six scorching new After All tracks. A nice little intro, outro and a cover tune were recorded as well. Early October we resume recording, finishing the June session and adding another three or four extra songs.
Dee J. is in charge of the recording, assisted by X-tof. After All guitarist Drieze is producing and overseeing the operation, as usual. Mixing and mastering duties will be handled by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Hail Of Bullets, Novembers Doom) at the legendary Unisound Studio in Örebro, Sweden.
The new album is set for a late 2008 release on Dockyard 1 in Europe and on Locomotive Records in the US.
|AFTER ALL TAP DAN SWANÖ FOR NEW ALBUM|
|Early June After All start recording their seventh full album at the Hype Studio in Mechelen, Belgium with long time live engineer Dee J. Mixing and mastering duties will be handled by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Hail Of Bullets, Novembers Doom) at the legendary Unisound Studio in Örebro, Sweden.
After All extended their recording deal with Hamburg based Dockyard 1 Records. The new album will be licensed to Locomotive Records for the US market. The release is set for late 2008.
